Windham Millwork Inc. is donating supplies to The Travis Mills Foundation in order to help finish their construction of The Veterans Retreat. The Veterans Retreat will be uniquely designed to be fully accessible for combat injured veterans and their families. The retreat will be a comfortable lodge for relaxation, adaptive sports, family recreation and acclamation to every day life.

Windham Millwork, Inc was selected to furnish and install all millwork in the new patient tower at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine. The new 361,000 sq ft tower will support a new sterile processing department, heart center, main lobby, surgical suite, two floors of private patient rooms, NICU, and a newly renovated labor and delivery center.
Windham Millwork, Inc has been chosen to complete the finish carpentry scope of the new Q Burke Resort’s 180,000 sq ft hotel in Burke, VT. The five story, 116 suite hotel is set to be completed in December 2015. Burke Mountain is a part of the Northeast Kingdom. Jay Peak Resort, which Windham Millwork has done extensive work for, is also a part of the Northeast Kingdom.
Windham Millwork was responsible for the entire design, manufacturing and installation of all the millwork at Easy Day Restaurant and Bowling Alley. Easy Day is a family oriented restaurant and entertainment center. With 10 lanes of bowling, a restaurant, lounge and large bar all in one venue it makes it a destination spot for families or friends to go and have a good time.
MaineGeneral Medical Center, also called the Alfond Center for Health is the largest single construction project completed in Maine’s History and also the largest single contract awarded to Windham Millwork. The 640,000 square foot, $224 million state of the art hospital located in Augusta, Maine was a merger of two hospital campuses that were 20 miles apart into one single location. This project also utilized a true Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) contract approach, the first of its kind in Maine. It also used lean construction tools and methods.
Windham Millwork was the architectural millwork company selected to help restore the historic Eastland Hotel in Portland, Me. The new Westin Portland Harborview Hotel was a $50 million renovation and is now the largest hotel in the State of Maine with 289 rooms. The original hotel, The Eastland, first opened in 1927 and cost roughly $2 million to build.
