Windham Millwork Inc, has been developing recipe for success over three generations, so it’s hard to sum it up in a line or two. The recipe includes a fair measure of quality ingredients, including excellent workmanship, a mixture of traditional craftsmanship and state-of-the-art technology, and seasoned with a fine focus on details. HealthSafe Systems> Windham Millwork Inc introduces its fight against harmful microbes and Hospital Acquired Illnesses (HAIs).

Windham Millwork Inc. would like to announce their two-pronged approach to fight against harmful microbes in our lives today. Every day we hear about hospital acquired illnesses, super bugs, and other microbes that are harmful to our health. Through its licensed use of the Aegis Microbe Shield* technology, Windham’s new HealthSafe Systems brand announces its Microbe Free Millwork and Microbe Free Building Solutions products to improve the environment in which we all live.

Windham Millwork, Inc has been awarded with its third hotel opportunity at Jay Peak Resort.  The new hotel, Stateside Hotel and Lodge, will be replacing the 50 year old Stateside Chalet.  The new hotel is 84 rooms and roughly 70,000 square feet.  In addition to the hotel will be a 12,000 square foot skier service building.  This day lodge will have an area for over 300 people at one time and will include food service.  Also in this will be guest day use lockers, retail, rest room facilities, ticket sales/customer service, and a ski school sales desk.

Windham Millwork, Inc has recently completed the entire millwork package at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine.  The Cross Insurance Center is a 5,800 seat multi-purpose arena.  The new arena will be replacing the Bangor Auditorium and will hold up to 8,500 people. The arena will be used for concerts, and features an attached 2,000-person convention center.  The Cross Insurance Center is directly across the street from Hollywood Casino and Hotel. Another project where Windham Millwork has provided all the interior woodwork.

Windham Millwork, Inc has been selected as the architectural woodworking company to provide its custom woodwork to the new renovations at The Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, Maine. The Civic Center was built in 1977 and will see significant renovations this coming year. The renovations will increase the building by 20,000 square feet. In addition to the increase in size the arena will also be given a face lift to the existing structure. New entrances to the building, new lobbies including stairs, elevators and escalators. Additional restrooms, concession and merchandising area will be added as well. There will be new private suites and club team offices, administrative offices and locker rooms. Additionally,  a larger ticket lobby and a complete retrofitting of the 7,000 arena seats.

Windham Millwork, Inc has provided a complete store fixture package for Dooney & Bourke in Livermore, CA this past year and now has another store in the works.   Dooney & Bourke, founded in 1975, is a company specializing in fashion accessories, such as handbags, iPod cases, luggage, bracelets, watches, briefcases and a limited clothing line. WMI has helped bring their design to reality in their new California store this past year and will now be adding Seattle, WA to their to do list.
