The Standard at Tallahassee has come to completion precisely on schedule and is now ready for Florida State University students next semester. This student focused apartment building features a clubhouse bar, cyber-lounge cafe, fitness studio, yoga studio, pool hall, virtual golf simulator, swimming pool with a wall-sized TV, multiple study booths and a conference meeting room.
The scope of our work in this project included window sills, moldings, casings, bases, trim, handrails, shelving, countertops, toekick, base boards, chair rail, door frames and lavatories. Some focal points for this project included a 13’x13′ maple stained reception desk made from Porcelanosa wood cubes. A study room wall featuring sierra gold and black maple from stikwood. Additionally, the clubroom features a wood wall detail and a twelve foot coffee bar counter-top made from Black Menai Cambria.
In conclusion, it was a pleasure to work with all parties associated on The Standard at Tallahassee project. This was our 4th national large university project with this contractor and we are proud to be their trusted millwork partner throughout the country.
We take pride in providing a place for students to learn, relax and enjoy. We accomplish this by creating an atmosphere where students will feel welcomed and at home.
